About the Artist

It's texture and color that define my paintings. My goal as an artist is to create one of a kind, richly colored, and textured art that captivates the eye, emotions, and mind of the viewer.

My paintings are distinctive because I have created them with techniques, skills, and methods of working that I have acquired over twenty-five years of painting. I am self taught but also have been fortunate to study with many fine artists, for which I will be forever grateful.

I reside in Bluffton, South Carolina with my husband Bob. I began painting in my mid fifties. In 1994 I took my first watercolor class and later began painting in earnest after retiring from the field of Mental Health Psychology.
